John Fallon Bio
John Fallon spent two years at Montmorency College learning the technical aspects of filmmaking, and another three years perfecting his craft as an actor through John Abbott College’s professional theater program in Montreal, Canada.ACTING:
John’s versatility as an actor has been tested in many divergent roles including a journalist/host for 26 episodes on TV’s “Kaosbar”, as Bucky the bully with an attitude on the popular TV series “Big Wolf on Campus”, a mime in the Katie Holmes film “Abandon”, a rapist in the Sci-Fi movie Recon 2020 and as a tech-soldier in “Alone in the Dark” with Christian Slater (Which led to him being featured in the “I Wish I had an Angel” music video by Night Wish).
He also appeared as a hacker-cop in "Saw II", a grief stricken vigilante in Deaden (which he also wrote and co produced) a psychotic Cyborg in Recon 2022 and Recon 2023 (which he co-wrote) and was interviewed in the Halloween 25 Years of Terror documentary alongside Rob Zombie and Clive Barker. John also recently appeared in Death Race with Jason Statham and in Eric Red’s 100 Feet as a police officer, acting with Famke Janssen and Bobby Cannavale. John will next be seen in The Beautiful Outsiders alongside Corey Feldman and Brad Dourif
SCREENWRITING:
John wrote, starred in and co-produced “Deaden”, a film directed by Christian Viel of “Samhain” infamy. The film premiered in Europe at the 2006 Sitges Film Festival and in North America at the 2007 Fantasia Film Festival. It is now available in stores on DVD.
He also completed his duties on Recon 2022 and Recon 2023, two films he co-wrote and acted in. Recon 2022 premiered at the 2007 Sci Fi London Festival and in North America at the 2007 Fantasia Film Festival. It is now out on DVD while Recon 2023 screened at Sci Fi London 2009 and Fantasia 2009. It will be available on DVD in 2009 as well.
John‘s horror/action screenplay Trance was shot in Louisiana and is to be widely released on DVD soon. The film stars Dominique Swain and Jeremy London. And two of John’s latest screenplays will be shot in soon: the zombies within a jail horror film Death Row (which he co wrote) and the action thriller TRIGGER which John will also co produce and star in.
DIRECTING:
John wrote and directed the music video for the hit song “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee. He also wrote, produced and directed a short film called The Red Hours which premiered in competition at the 2008 Sitges Film Festival. And then won the Indie Spirit Award at the 2009 Australian 2009 A Night of Horror.
ARROW IN THE HEAD: Finally John also operates (since the year 2000) one of the most successful horror movie websites on the Net called “Arrow in the Head” (www.arrowinthehead.com ). John was accepted into the horror community with open arms, by many of its most respected inhabitants and has now become one of the front runners within the horror media industry. Which led him to being a member of the Jury at the prestigious Sitges Film Festival in 2006.
Saida Lamas Bio
She studied Drama for 3 years in the "Laboratory Theatre" of Barcelona with Joan Guaski. She completed her education with a year of Interpretation in "Company & Company" with professor and director Tamzim Townsend. She did a Clown course at school "El Timbal" with Merche Ochoa. During the following years her training has been complemented with other courses related to theatre and acting.ACTING
Her career is closely tied to the theatre, having acting in numerous plays throughout the country. Among the titles she has played are "Terror and misery in the early Franco years" where she played various characters associated with Franco’s dictatorship. "Nobody's perfect”, a comedy that did good business where she played a rebel teenager. She has also played different characters in classic Spanish pieces such "La Celestina", playing the role of Melibea, "Lazarillo de Tormes", Molière’s "Un médico a palos," Molière, Morantin’s "El si de las niñas" and Shakespeare’s “A midsummer’s night dream " where she played Puck, "Odisseo" a free adaptation of Homer's Odyssey, among other titles.
PRODUCTION AND DIRECTION
Complementing her work as an actress she has worked as producer, organizer, manager and distributor of entertainment shows. Among her work in this field are the production of "27 times Hamlet", “Homenaje a Pepín Bello” and Valle-Inclan’s "Retablo” She has worked as assistant director on shows like "El galán fantasma" by Calderon de la Barca, "Pel davant i pel darrera" a hit comedy in Barcelona, directed by Alexander Herold, "Això a un fill no se li fa " comedy directed by Tamzim Townsend and" Volpone o la guineu "among others.
Sergio Bernal Bio
Born in Sabadell (Barcelona), he studied in Nancy Tuñón’s school (2003 to 2007), where he also took the course “The actor in front of the camera”. Through these initial contacts he entered the short film world getting work for schools like ESCAC, CECC where he acquired a solid education.At the same time he began to work in films with independent directors, acting in starring roles as well as choral films.
After this brief but intense period comes "Embryo", written and directed by Gonzalo Lopez, it is his first feature film where he starred in the main role of the film. The film was premiered at the Sitges Festival 08 in the Noves Visions section. His performance did not go unnoticed.
Just after that he had a speaking part on "Seven and a half steps" with Ernesto Alterio, developing a cold and unscrupulous character.
His natural talent and professionalism are the strengths that have made him to be claimed for various projects in 2009.
Gonzalo López Bio
Gonzalo López was born in Barcelona in 1977. He has been a film addict since his childhood. He has worked in several fields in the world of cinema. He worked as production assistant in the film "Genesis" (1998) and since then he has appeared in TV and radio as film analyst. He has also worked as freelance writing essays on film and film music. In 2005 he served as International Jury on the Sitges - International Film Festival of Catalonia. He has also served as International Jury for Cryptshow Film Festival (2008 edition) and he has also worked as public relations for this same event.He is the author of 8 complete screenplays of which "Embryo" was the first one to be produced. "Embryo" is an official remake of the film "The embryo hunts in secret" directed by Koji Wakamatsu. In 2007 Mr. López contacted Mr. Wakamatsu, and the veteran Japanese filmmaker agreed to the idea of a new and radical version of his film and licensed the rights to Mr. López to make the film. This film is the first one directed by Gonzalo López.
After that he teamed with actor John Fallon to write together the short film “Old number 7” that was shoot in the early 2009, being this films his second effort as a cinema director.

a several number of audiovisual projects, improving his skills in almost every genre. As director he achieved international impact with his second film “Make up”
David Abadía Bio
Sound engineer, composer and self-taught musician, took contact with the cinema in the film "Embrión" (2008), Gonzalo Lopez' first feature. He did live sound technician and composed the original score for the film. Other works have been the short film "Psique" by Ignacio Rodó, as live sound technician, "Old Number Seven" by Gonzalo Lopez, in which David has collaborated on the soundtrack and more recently the short-documentary "Castells del Baix Gaià" by Pol Ponsarnau, as live sound technician.Marc Pascual Bio
Marc Pascual is an artist that joins science-mathematicals theorieswith his own personal feelings, he tries to combine diferent styles, searching for simplicity in music or visuals.
He has worked in several projects in AVED productions.
Sofia Daunis Bio
Born in Barcelona in 1984, she began to venture into the world of make-up as characterizing and image consultant. In 2006 she completed his studies in London by the hand of Neill Gorton, specializing in Special Effects.To the date, her career has been very diverse working in different media such as television, photography, advertising and short films including Old # 7 where she has been able to do the make up special effects that is the discipline that she enjoys the most.
She has won several national awards for bodypainting and now combines her media work with teaching makeup in different schools and training centers.
Salvador Solano Bio
Born in Barcelona in 1976, Salvador Solano, a pseudo-historian and failed priest, remembers his first cinematographic experience as the viewing of L'ultimo squalo (Enzo G. Castellari, 1981) in the legendary Lumière of Bellvitge. This experience probably marked him somehow, because he is as dumb as a fish since then.He worked as production assistant in Embrión (Gonzalo López, 2008) and combines these first steps in the movies industry with his writings in media such as Video Popular or Distrito13, besides of his self-considered literary masterpiece, which was published in a gas station toilet door.
While he wastes his time preparing something, unaware of what it will be, he believes that if THEY move, you must kill ‘em.
Ausias Pomés Bio
Ausiàs Pomés was born in Barcelona in 1978. He has a background in nautical engineering and computer graphics, and also has 9 years of experience as a 3D artist and digital compositor.Several years ago, he began by creating 3D models and CGI footage for a documentary about merchant vessels. In 2002 he became a member of AVED PAPC and worked on several chroma key scenes for Vacío, by Jordi Montornés. It was one of the first short films produced by AVED.
In the following years, he worked as a digital effects supervisor and digital compositor for several short films, most notably Maquillaje by Javier Rueda; Casting, Cautivo and Psique by Ignacio F. Rodó; and Tijeras by Jose Luis Algar.
In 2007 he worked as a 3D artist to create two CGI helicopters and digital fire and smoke for several shots in another short film by Jordi Montornés called Después del Sueño. He also worked as a 3D track artist and digital compositor on this project, which will be released in late 2009.
In 2008 he worked as a digital compositor on Embrión by Gonzalo López, which premiered at the Festival Internacional de Sitges in 2008.
In 2009 he worked as a digital compositor on 7 shots for Old Number 7 by Gonzalo López. He also worked as a 3D digital artist and digital compositor to create 10 CGI shots for the aforementioned short film. It will premiere at the Festival Internacional de Sitges '09.
Ausiàs Pomés currently combines special digital effects projects with his work in a Barcelona based research group that investigates therapeutic applications of virtual reality.
Ignacio F. Rodó Bio
Ignacio F. Rodó was born in Terrassa (Barcelona) the 11th of December of 1986.Precocious and energetic, he wanted to experiment with so many fields that he decided to study an engineering degree. Not happy with that, he has combined it with professional cinema and marketing jobs.
At the moment, he has alternated the direction of five shortfilms with the direction and organization of castings for shortfilms, documentaries and feature films.
Joan I. Alonso Bio
He has a degree in Arts. He’s a painter and illustrator. Currently he’s wroking as a teacher in a secondary school in Barcelona.He’s an avid film collector of films and cinema collectibles.
He co-created and painted the poster for the film “Embrión” by Gonzalo López.
Neus Campan Bio
She is graduated in Maths. She’s a teacher in a secondary school in Barcelona.She’s a fan of cinema and photography.
Ana Medici Bio
Ana Laura Medici (1983), sound technician. Graduated in 2003 at The Metro, audiovisual communication school in Cordoba, Argentina.She has also studied photography and she won the third prize and special mention in the photographic contest, "Corners of our people," San Francisco, Cordoba, Argentina.
She has attended seminars for visual music underscore.
Since 2002 she is working as boom operator and direct sound technician in documentaries and fiction films.
She currently resides in San Sebastian, Spain.
